If you haven’t read My Journey into The Master Cleanse (Day 1 of 10) I suggest you read it, as this is a followup entry. It will give background info on what I am doing.

Day Seven

Perhaps the Smooth Move laxative tea worked too quickly through the night. My body woke me up at 5 in the morning to visit the bathroom. I don’t know why it would work so quickly, though. I drank the tea at 21:00 last night, which is the normal time. After falling back asleep, I slept later than desired: 09:00. That reminds me, I’ve been sleeping more than usual lately. I seem to get tired earlier in the evening. Most likely, there is less sugar in my blood than normal which effects me alertness at night. In the long term, it is preferable that I fall asleep earlier.

I spent a good deal of the day out and about, so I brought 4 cups of the Lemonade-X with me in my Nalgene bottle again. I increasingly realize how challenging this cleanse can be if there is good food around you. Let no one fool you, self-discipline is a requirement of this cleanse. At times, it becomes difficult to go on, but now that I am so close. So close.

Seeing days lined up
all in a row
so easily
one wonders if
they are all one day
lasting until the End of Time.
