At last, the real video footage of the gale-force winds mentioned in the article Use Spontaneity to Stay Sane is available for your enjoyment. Perhaps now you will realize the sheer natural force I battled with in those winds. I assembled this video from six smaller videos captured with my small Canon camera. I used iMovie software to assemble the clips into this shortfilm.
The Kite was given to me by my Grandmother years ago, but now that I’m learning some Japanese, the kite has taken on new meaning for me. At the middle of this video you can see some Japanese lettering on one of the kite wings. Can you guess what ありがとう means? It means “Thank You” in Japanese. Lovely.
