Thanks for pointing out the Stained Glass Museum, SP & Catherine. I don’t know how I missed it! Oh well, I suppose that leaves something for next time.

The Segway tours did give me a nice laugh though. Anyone ever been on a Segway tour?

Like the previous comment, the thing I most enjoyed about my visit to Navy Pier last summer was The Smith Museum of Stained Glass… an absolute gem..

As a Chicagoan, I've never understood the popularity of Navy Pier. It does have its surprises though. The Smith Museum of Stained Glass just sits right in the middle of a hallway. It's free and features gorgeous and historic stained glass panes from designers like the Tiffany Company. Also, the view from the existing Ferris wheel is a unique one. Seems like the only times we’ve been over to Chicago, it’s been cold, cold, cold! One of these days, I’d like to get out there in warmer weather so we could explore more down by the lake.
