On the banks of the northern end of the Mississippi river lies Minneapolis. Its name is derived from “mni”, the Dakota word for water, and “polis”, the Greek word for city. Nicknamed “City of Lakes”, it’s the largest city in Minnesota, and it contains plenty of free and inexpensive things to explore. My time in this city has thus far been limited, but I hope to remedy that in the future and bring you more from the City of Lakes. However, a video is included in the articles below.
