Known as the “Emerald City”, Seattle is the largest city in Pacific Northwest and is named after Chief Sealth (“Seattle”) of the Duwamish and Suquamish native tribes. Seattle was the northernmost point I reached during my 2009 West Coast Expedition, and I was able to see many sides of this historic city. During my stay, I discovered some breathtaking things to see, free of charge. I also was shocked when I experienced the generosity of its people firsthand.
