The Huge Atwood Sphere

Date: 2008/Aug/20 Wed

The sphere is a large hollow ball made of very thin (1/64 inch thick) metal. When you are inside it in the dark, you can see "stars" – light shining from the outside through tiny holes in the metal sphere arranged to form all of the constellations we can see in the Chicago sky.
