A Prayer for the Repose of the Dead
Date: 2008/Aug/21 Thu
O, all ye who pass by here may you recite this offering for the repose of the soul of those here.
"An offering which the King gives of a thousand of bread, a thousand of beer, a thousand of fowl, beef, linen, and of every good and pure thing upon which a vindicated soul may live."
This prayer might be said for all these people whose bodies are being kept here:
Mut-hotepet (daughter of Iret-horru)
Chenet-a-a
Hor-em-akhet
Harwa
Hori
Djed-iu-Mut-es-ankh
Men
Pa-di-Amun
(and 12 others whose names we don't know)
