Mysterious Notched Disks

Date: 2008/Aug/21 Thu

The significance of these disks with notched edges is a mystery. In graves, some have been found lying on the chest of the deceased.

Bi ("bee") disks with center holes – and similar rings with slightly larger holes – have been found in many late Neolithic burial sites.
