Ping Proxies is now Byteful
A new name, a stronger platform, and more opportunities to move your data faster than ever.
bytes moved through our network last year
Look, we love proxies. We really do. But "Ping Proxies" was starting to feel like wearing a band t-shirt from a gig we played five years ago. Accurate, but not exactly capturing where we're headed.
Byteful gives us room to grow into the agentic, data, and scraping tools we're building, while still keeping our proxy products fast, reliable, and annoyingly good.
Also, some lawyers said some things. You know how it goes.
// Rebrand in progress
export const platform = {
name: 'Byteful',
formerly: 'Ping',
status: 'all systems go'
}
// No breaking changes
export const compatibility = {
api: 'stable',
traffic: 'uninterrupted',
setup: 'as-is',
}What stays the same
What does this mean for you?
We'll keep the old domain running until an eventual sunset point and we will give customers plenty of notice when we do plan to discontinue them. No surprise 404s. We're not monsters.
- Your API keys keep working
- Your traffic flows uninterrupted
- Zero migration needed
