Why does LinkedIn detect and block proxies harder than any other platform?
LinkedIn’s business model relies heavily on its users' professional data. A common misconception is that LinkedIn bans proxies just based on the IP address, but many other factors play a role as well. Some of them include proxy IP reputation, checking IP history for any fraud- or scam-related activities, and checking proxy and VPN database listings to see if the IP belongs there.
While using a proxy masks the IP layer, it does not bypass LinkedIn’s detection mechanisms, as many other factors play a role as well. LinkedIn tracks browser data and behavioral metrics, which analyze activity pacing and can easily distinguish between perfectly timed script pacing and random human activity.
